We started our tour in an exclusive Portuguese Coffee-Shop, Brown's Coffee-Shop.
Located in Rua da Vitória, near the subway exit of Baixa-Chiado, this shop was opened in 1999. Although it started as a single coffee-shop they were able to diversify their business by opening the Brown's Burger across the street and later, they founded a very modern hotel, Brown's Apartments.

Brown's currently employs 9 well-trained collaborators and they are open to the public from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m..
Regarding the atmosphere, we found ourselves enjoying the peculiar and comfortable decoration in a very calm and relaxed environment - the different sizes and shapes of chairs and sofas, pillows, blankets, flowers and the low intensity light that completed the all experience, feels like home!
As far as the range of products available for the customer, they offer a wide variety of cold and hot drinks - from the traditional hot chocolate to the cold macchiato - as well as some more artisanal pastry - big size homemade cakes and muffins.
As a complement, Brown's Coffee-Shop also offers free Wi-fi to their customers allowing them to spend a greater amount of time enjoying their drink and still being able to keep up with their daily responsibilities.
Finally, Brown's Coffee-Shop doesn't own a website or an official facebook page.
