As young active business
students in Lisbon, we need that "coffee-break" to make it through the
day. But we don't content with averages, we want the best out of the
best. Therefore, we decided to start a journey across the sunny and
charming streets of downtown Lisbon from Rossio to Baixa-Chiado.
Since
we are looking for the ultimate experience, we took the decision to
narrow our quest to not all the cafes but only to coffee-shops. After
some research on the field and a lot of expressos, we discovered three
competing brands operating in the segment of coffee as an experience:
Starbucks, Jeronymo and Brown's. Given our academic background we are
more than used to look and collect crucial data so as to compare
strategies of companies.
For
that reason, Confessions of Coffeeholics aim to provide a competitive
view of this market. We know that this battle will not be easy but we
are sure the result is worth fighting for.
